Though there have been times where maybe decisions on how to manage the site messed up and sometimes people are right to get mad at changes, I have talked to a few staff members before and closely followed in 's words and realized that there's still a whole lot of love put into this community.
I have things to complain about, yes, but I am also thankful that I have this site, the only art site where I feel like everything is about having fun and procastinating with art, where art is encouraged with child spirit and I am allowed to do whatever I want with iteven if the community has gotten so butthurt it makes you want to leave sometimes.
There are wonderful artists out there that, even though I don't particularily idolize, I recognise and respect their experience, time, effort and inspiration they've put in us, such as just to name a few.
I want to let this staff know that I appreciate what you do, and what you try to do for us as well, because I know sometimes you can relate to our feelings about DA but it's hard to take actions when you're not in the position to, I appreciate your intentions towards us, because I've seen you talk, I've watched you act, I've read some of yor words and I knew you really meant them, we have a lot in common, specially this website.
DeviantArt has changed with the time, yes, I've spent near 8 years in this community and I have a lot of reasons to complain about this site, I am aware that it's not what it used to be and I'm saying this because I can relate to users that might be mad and have reasons not to thank this site, but I'm pretty sure we all have at least single reason to thank for, and mine is helping me make friends and grow as a person and as an artist while I was going through some bad stuff for a time and I couldn't vent IRL.
I guess I just owe DA a bunch of things other than that, I've met wonderful people here and learned a lot of things, it's the site I spend most of my time on and know very well, and I intend on keeping it that way. There are certain staff members I hold a special respect to for what they do, but let me list all of them here so you get a look at these people:
They have all worked really hard for this site, and it upsets me that we often blame them for how DA has changed over time and stopped being the site it was, when in reality, they don't always take those decisions that negatively affects us and they're affected by their own staff problems as well; they don't always have the last word over every change there is in this site, and they defend the community's opinions as much as they can as long as they cause no harm.
For having patience to build this site, I have never done anything but complain, so for the first time #thankyoudastaff
Also I have to particularily thank damphyr man you don't get enough recognition for the things you do and it sucks to get the worst part of DA to fix it and the worst complaints on top of that

The ultimate art tip
These days, I get more questions regarding art, I suppose it is because I am growing. These questions may be asked differently every time, sometimes they may seem like different questions, but they all have the same answer. “Do you have any tips for drawing better?” “How do you stay motivated to draw all the time?” “I want to be an artist, can you give me any advice?” My answer is always the same: you have to love what you do. You see, for some strange reason, whether it's the promise of becoming popular and earning lots of money or a big dream project, most people aren't having fun with art. I didn't start my artistic journey for money or fame. As a 5 year old kid drawing a 5 legged cat in elementary school, I didn’t think “I want to sell this for a few hundred bucks to pay rent” or “I wonder if this will get likes on social media”. No, I did it because I enjoyed drawing a 5 legged cat. Kids don't put worry in between their little project and them. The problem for this 5 year

I'm getting a home with your help!
Hello everyone!! Some of you may have read that I recently started a new goal. So much is happening in my life. Among some things, I'm getting married! And I've set my eyes on getting a place of our own. You have no idea how much I'm looking forward it, some special offers and opportunities came up that would allow me to achieve this by the end of this year if I hit the money goal by then! It's not a huge goal compared to what prices for land out there are... but it is big enough to pose a challenge for one person alone (or even two) when my fulltime job is art! Even so, I fully believe it is possible and I have 100% faith that it will come to pass, even if I can't make it to the end of the year, this is a great step towards that direction! So I came up with a "GoFundMe" kind of idea! I would actually use GoFundMe but they don't have my country listed, so I'm enabling my Ko-Fi page for this new goal too, you can see the progress being made in real time here: ko-fi.com/kofitades I
